Celebrations for Chinese New Year started this week end in the china towns in United Kingdom:
Liverpool: The city’s Chinatown will be a riot of colour as thousands of people are expected to flock to events to mark the Year of the Monkey.
Manchester celebrates Chinese New Year is grand style, with its usually route. The Chinese dragon started its journey just outside Manchester Town Hall providing a short display with the famous Chinese dragon, before moving through the crowded streets along Princess Street, on to Faulkner Street, Charlotte Street, George Street, Then arriving back up Princess Street, left onto Cooper Street and then ending its trip on Lloyd Street. The crowd was able to view the dragon at Albert Street, performing its dance with the sound of beating drums and fire crackers.
London Chinese New Year will be welcomed in with the traditional Chinese Dragon bring in the Year of the Monkey, on the 14th February 2016 in London China Town. The celebrations will include music, acrobatics, activities and pyrotechnics.
